My Honest Review of 'Mulhoe' from a Trip to Sokcho, East Sea. Among the famous restaurants in Sokcho, 'Mulhoe' is by far the best.

| 물회 |
It is a common dish not only in Sokcho but throughout the entire East Sea coast. It is a dish traditionally eaten by fishermen who sliced freshly caught fish and mixed it with soybean paste.

| MULHOE |
It was essentially the food of busy fishermen. Now, it has become a famous dish of Sokcho. The place I visited today is a restaurant called 'Hangari Mulhoe,' which is famous even in Sokcho. However, the Mulhoe was disappointing today. The taste of the raw fish is not as good as it used to be, and the portion size has shrunk significantly. I plan to skip this place next time.
I feel bad because it seems the prices have gone up and the portions have been reduced just because it has become famous. On my next trip to Sokcho, I intend to eat at a small restaurant frequented by locals. The waves in Sokcho are high. The magnificent crashing waves are truly a spectacular sight.
Although Sokcho is a representative resort destination, there aren't many tourists visible yet because it is still spring. Sokcho is also famous for its rip-off prices, and it has now started to be shunned by travelers.
Although this place used to be bustling with people, it is evident that the number of tourists has decreased. It is a shame that the Sokcho mulhoe I had with my family today did not live up to my expectations.
