Thailand Khao Yai Golf Trip Review

Thanks to a friend’s recommendation, I recently joined a golf tour in Khao Yai, Thailand, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience.

Although Khao Yai is about a two-hour drive from Bangkok Airport, the local travel agency arranged a convenient pickup service straight to the hotel, making the journey effortless.

The region is home to Thailand’s famous national park, and with its cooler, more pleasant climate compared to Bangkok, it provided the perfect setting for golf.

I was initially concerned about the accommodation, but the hotel exceeded expectations with its friendly service and spotless facilities.

Starting a trip with a comfortable stay really sets the tone, and this one did not disappoint.

The golf courses were of excellent quality, offering a truly enjoyable round, and the option to explore the nearby national park added another layer of excitement to the trip.

Dining was another highlight. Meals at The Chocolate Factory and the elegant Midwinter Restaurant were memorable, while relaxing at Podium Café inside the national park gave us a chance to slow down and soak in the natural surroundings.

One of the most meaningful aspects of this trip was meeting the missionary couple who run the local travel agency.

Their kindness and thoughtful hospitality made the entire journey even more special.

Their program, called Thailand Khao Yai Boo Golf Tour,” lived up to its name by offering a charming and unique experience.

I am already planning to return next year. From this year onward, the accommodation has been updated to Charming Hotel, which has been remodeled and is known for its clean facilities and warm service—something I am very much looking forward to.

Overall, this Khao Yai golf trip was a perfect blend of location, hotel, dining, and golf. It was a delightful couple’s getaway that left us with lasting memories and a strong desire to come back again.
